Moon Lake Camping Trip

The Annual Moon Lake camping trip with the Perkins family was a hit. We took along our new giant tent (which could have fit all our family, plus grandma, grandpa and most the rest of the campers).

It was Finley's first camping trip and he was instantly hooked. Who could blame him with fun activities such as teeter totter with mom and the boys,

going on hikes and throwing rocks in the lake,

throwing sticks for Kya and Jackson to catch in the water and watching as they ran, jumped and swam to catch them and

enjoying smores, poor-boys, hot dogs and yummy dutch oven calzones and chocolate chip cookies around a campfire.

Mom even made it through the entire camping trip.....although the second night she slept at the bed and breakfast down the road.

(but hey that was better than lying awake all night struggling to get some sleep and not having it come until 4:00 am)

We all had a lot of fun and made many memories. We love being able to spend time with family and even enjoyed getting to know Kevin's cousins a little better.

Now if we can just get mom to be a better camper.......
