Leprechauns Mischief

I woke up to Griffin telling me that the Leprechaun had set the table. What a nice leprechaun.....or so I thought. Not so. He had set out tiny green bowls with huge green cups and very large spoons. A note was left telling them to enjoy his favorite breakfast....lucky charms, and glittery green and gold shamrocks were left hanging from the ceiling fan. All the chairs were turned away from the table as well. We did some rearranging and then ate, but not before they ran around to each room screaming in excitement as they discovered something else our little leprechaun friend had left.

For instance, shoes were all over the house. On posts, door knobs, upside down tables.

The couch pillows had been rearranged and all the photos in the front room looked as if the little leprechaun had enjoyed jumping on the couch and shaking the wall.

Around the rest of the room the pictures were also turned on their sides or upside down and on top of the piano he left a little pot of gold treats for each boy above Braeden's rainbow blanket which apparently he really liked. (Rolo's and chocolate gold coins, yum...too bad I'm not eating sweets.)

Downstairs more upturned chairs, an upside down table with my shoe on it and little notes made out of green lego's or left on the white board. He also managed to somehow get the giant bean bag up onto the couch. Strong little fella....we figure he used some magic.

He even found Griffin's leprechaun mask that he made at preschool and used it to draw a funny picture and leave a little note. A little extra clean up work for mom but lots of fun for the kids. At least this year he remembered to wipe his feet so there were no footprints.
