Braeden had his first full day of Kindergarten yesterday and came home so excited. He was looking forward so much to be able to ride the bus home all by himself. This idea has been making Leia very nervous but Braeden did great. When he got home he told us all about his day. He said that his energy meter was great because they had snacks and he got chocolate milk and raisins. He didn't get to eat his raisins because the fire drill went off and his energy went down. A fire drill on your first day of school is probably a pretty scary thing.
When he had to go to the bathroom he somehow couldn't get back out. We're not sure how someone gets locked in an elementary school bathroom but he did.
He learned about syllables and how to "clap spell" words. It was art day so he drew a picture of himself and got to hang it on the wall in the hall. We are so glad that kindergarten is so much fun and we are looking forward to each new day.

Yay Braeden! We're so excited for you to be big. Although I'm sure this is bittersweet for your mom and dad. Have fun and learn lots.r
